Morton Kondracke just said that Madeline Albright, former US Secretary of State, said to him in a holding room before an interview

"I wonder when George Bush will drag Osama bin Laden out of hiding? Just before the election?"

Kondracke said he was stunned. He said "You can't be serious!"

He said that Albright was not laughing when she said what she said.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that statement an accusassion of aiding and abedding an enemy of the state which would be an accusassion of treason levied? Madeline Albright is a citizen and is no longer protected by the laws of the federal government concerning political asylum from statements. Can she not be sued for her actions for liable?
