I am glad if the diet works for you, but realise HOW it works is more to do with simple mathematics (less calories in than calories burns = weight loss, roughly 3500 calories need to be burned more than consumed to lose 1 lbs of weight.) I do agree in the first phases of the low carb thing you can see some dramatic water weight lose end of the day its simple caloric restriction. Ah you have fallen for the old a Calorie is a Calorie lie. It has befuddled millions of sheeple.

No I have an basic understanding of mathematics, and I have read what the low carb diet authors themselves have already admitted.... removing empty calories from a persons diet and limiting them to protien as their primary intake by and large reduces the daily caloric intake of most people drastically.
The people who buy the marketing hype while ignoring the words of the very people who write/sell the diets is astounding.
