TOPICS: Foreign Affairs
KEYWORDS: 2001; 911; alqaeda; alqaedaandiraq; hussein; iraq; lauriemylrioe; mohammedatta; saddam; september11; wtcattack
The topics to be covered are guarrenteed to stir the passions of every American.

From the current headlines on todays frontpages to the very real threat of terrorist WMD attacks on the US Homeland, to the pivotal role the former government of Saddam Hussein in supporting the WTC attack of 1993, the events of September 11, 2001 and the subsequent anthrax attacks through the US postal service... a convincing case will be made.

This the same case that Vice President Dick Cheney attempted to make on the NBC-TV Meet the Press program back on September 7, 2003 and stopped short of doing.

The is the same case reported on two days ago by Con Coughlin in the December 14 edition of the Sunday Telegraph. The Headline was "TERRORIST BEHIND SEPTEMBER 11 STRIKE WAS TRAINED BY SADDAM"

"Iraq's coalition government claims that it has uncovered documentary proof that Mohammed Atta, the al-Qaeda mastermind of the September 11 attacks against the US, was trained in Baghdad by Abu Nidal, the notorious Palestinian terrorist.

Details of Atta's visit to the Iraqi capital in the summer of 2001, just weeks before he launched the most devastating terrorist attack in US history, are contained in a top secret memo written to Saddam Hussein, the then Iraqi president, by Tahir Jalil Habbush al-Tikriti, the former head of the Iraqi Intelligence Service.

The handwritten memo, a copy of which has been obtained exclusively by the Telegraph, is dated July 1, 2001 and provides a short resume of a three-day "work programme" Atta had undertaken at Abu Nidal's base in Baghdad.

In the memo, Habbush reports that Atta "displayed extraordinary effort" and demonstrated his ability to lead the team that would be "responsible for attacking the targets that we have agreed to destroy".

The second part of the memo, which is headed "Niger Shipment", contains a report about an unspecified shipment - believed to be uranium - that it says has been transported to Iraq via Libya and Syria."

TUNE IN THIS EVENING AT 7 PM PST TO 790 AM KABC Radio or listen live to the show as it is streamed around the world on this URL:

Yes, and I will also make an effort to post a link to a streamed or downloadable recording of the 1-hour long segment of the show.

Yes, very good, another nail in the coffin of those saying there is no Iraq-alQaeda connection.

The image you have posted is handwritten letter dated Feb. 19, 1998 linking bin Laden and Saddam Hussein discussing arrival of a secret envoy sent by bin Laden to Iraq.
The signature beneath the letter is a codename, "MDA" - the Mukhabarat which is Iraqi Intelligence.

Next case....

No, the above is in error. KABC radio and streaming audio are the only avaible venues.

Still the reach is global.
