On another thread Gen. Sanchez was quoted as saying the following about Saddam:

"He has been talkative ... cooperative in the sense that he is complying with the instructions and he is answering willingly the questions that are being asked of him. I wouldn't describe 'cooperative' in the sense of freely giving us information yet."

I'd say that the briefcase has a lot of info that can be correlated to what we already know or suspect, and Saddams's non-answers are effectively verifying a lot. The operative word in the quote is "freely." He doesn't know that he's giving information we need.
