The INS is messed up unbeleivably. I dated, for a short while (until she realized she was too good for me) a lovely lady, in the US on a work visa. All her papers were in order, she was doing everything by the law, but she got almost monthly letters from the INS telling her that she needed this or that in order to avoid expulsion. Now, I don't claim to speak for everyone, but blonde, blue-eyed girls from Canada working for the Catholic church are not much of a threat. We need a little profiling.
