[history]

Whatever the approach in California, if it is simple, uniform and fair will result in tremendous financial losses to the Los Angeles Unified School District and this will be the undoing of the reform.
LAUSD is a monster with an insatiable appetite for the properties taxes of other counties. This monster is also omnipotent in that it is the largest in state, has year after year resisted constant efforts from within to break up it's monopoly, and most important, encompasses many assembly districts that are represented by individuals with no interest, what so ever, in the general well being of the state if legislation infringes on their bloated share of state revenues.

Thanks. I will read this later. I promise. I just returned home from the Fundraiser and I want to check out some of the capture news. This has truly been one of the best days of my life. I left early this AM to begin preparations for the fundraiser and only learned of this great news from a friend around 9:30am. See you soon. :-))
