US soldiers joined the fun while locals started to slaughter sheep to fuel the celebrations.

But, but, but.....I thought the Iraqis missed Saddam, and the order he brought to their society.

Oh oh. Now the DUmmies will support the terrorists even more. Human killing is politically correct, but when they start eating meat - that's the last straw! This is war!

Congratulations President Bush. We can only pray that now the Ba'athist insurgency will fade away, that rebuilding can continue at a faster pace, and that Iraq can move more quickly toward a democratically-elected government.

Thanks for posting these wonderful photos. The only one I feel uneasy about is seeing the Commie flag. It just conjurs up unpleasant memories.

Okay, the one with the little kid and the gun kinda worries me but as long as he has been taught gun safety I don't have a problem.

Iraqis celebrated the capture of fallen dictator Saddam Hussein in traditional style, blasting away with their favourite weapons pointed to the skies and folk dancing in the streets.

Oh the irony of it all, even with blanks loaded, one couldn't celebrate such an event in the USA without being locked up for discharging a firearm within city limits.
