Some VERRRRRRRRRY dumb broad with Russert just said that a plea bargain by Saddam might happen.

Maybe he can use Geragos to get the charge of mass crimes against humanity, 10s of thousands of murders, and hundreds of millions of dollars stolen down to medium crimes against humanity, several thousands of murders, and a milllion or so stolen. So he only has to spend TWO eternities in hell.

Extra security bodies is my guess. This sounded like a large sweep through the area, as opposed to a door kicking raid. Artillery guys are more than capable of holding the perimeter while the 11 bang bangs or whatever 18 series guys they had along do their thing.
