CNN (*spit*) is now on with breaking news saying that Iran appears to have Saddam.
If true, I somehow doubt Iran will turn him over. They haven't been forthcoming with al Qaeda operatives in their borders.

Some newswhore on CNN is right now talking about how if Saddam is captured, it really won't matter much because so many others are now working in Iraq that Saddam is not critical any more.
I am not kidding. I sure hope we got him.

No confirmed yet, on FNC or MSNBC. There's a big raid in Tikrit going, but it might be for other big boys.

I have. Just surveying what they have.
Looks like I either misread the text on the screen or CNN did a fumble (which mentioned Iran and capture of Saddam). It hasn't been repeated.
The current scuttlebutt is that Saddam was captured in Tikrit. U.S. military in process of determining if it is indeed Saddam.
Let us pray, fellow Freepers!!
