Did anyone else see that report?
A French reporter who I believe worked for MSNBC was filming Iraqi insurgents as they were going on a mission to fire rockets and a light morter on American troops. These terrorists were disguised as civilians and covered their faces with the Kayffia(sp?)when on film. They were filmed with night vision as they fired from a morter and then got back in their car and sped off. Then they mixed in with traffic and drove past American troops on the highway.
These reporters tried to justify it by saying they are nuetral as journalists. B/S! You are either for us or against us. This reporter going on a fire mission wiht Iraqi insurgents, how is this different from say an NBC reporter getting in a plane with Japanese aviators to film the attack on Pearl Harbour?
They did show that French reporter on another clip, and they gave his name. But I don't recall to many details as it went rather fast. Does anyone here have this guy's name? Can they provide a link to the story? I could not find in on the msnbc website.
I really would like to find out more information on that French reporter. I would like to find his office in Paris so I can go over there and get in his face.

Can you imagine the outcry if he actually got shot while pulling off these antics. Tyhe EU is the Enemy

The French reporter probably planned the attack.I didnt see the clip , but it does prove several things although the libarals wont see them it proves Iraqui's are fighting in an illegal manner as being dressed in civilian clothes is against the rules of war, It proves they arent soldiers but terrorists, and when captured havent the rights to be treated as POW's. I can only hope the next time a Frog Cameraman goes out on patrol with the Saddamites he gets blown to hell along with them.

If he does get shot - not that I would hope for such a thing - it will serve him right.

And they say it's wrong to target journalists?

If he does get shot - not that I would hope for such a thing - it will serve him right. Oh, well allow me then. Anyone working with the enemy should be shot, and I hold strong support for anyone who would shoot them. If he happens to be French, shoot him again.

Yes. Ware at TIME met with the enemy regularly, and the US govt chose to ignore the contacts. More than likely a lawyer issue.

The solution is as simple as it is effective. Just send in some CIA people as French reporters and after arresting or eliminating a few "Iraqi Insurgents", make sure everyone knows we are doing this. The "Insurgents" will then take care of our "French Reporters" As Stalin said " No more man no more problem"

That would be a restriction on the insurgent's right to freedom of speech, you see... they have every right to have their atrocities filmed.
I fully expect to see this argument brought up by the Democrats. At which point I say enough already and just make being a Democrat a federal crime. No... wait... leave it up to the States.

"If He Does get Shot..."
IF this SH+T-for-Brains is COLLUDING WITH the psychopaths murdering both Iraquis & Americans (&/or Their Allies), his Demise is Certain, & his "Collusion" is Reprehensible!!
While a "Reporter" should remain "Neutral;" NO "Human Being" could remain "Neutral" while a psychopathic "Bomber" attempted to Murder His/Her "Targets!!"
ANY "Journalist" who ALLOWED such an Atrocity has LOST his/her Objectivity!!
There is NO "Journalistic Ethic" which allows MASS MURDER!!
