Simply a "never was" endorsing a "never will".

Hillary better get herself re-elected from the great state of New York first. I have heard mixed things about her chances. As ever, four years is an eternity and if Gore decides to try again, he will give the Hillary wing a run for their money. Now THAT would be interesting! (Can you imagine the charges that he would level against her? But would the media allow any criticism of the female icon?)

That is good work that you can do well.

Carter didn't say what Mrs. Clinton should do with her husband should she win in White House. My advise to the most detached "couple" in the history of humanity would be to first lock away all the cigars.

Carter: Hillary Needs to Separate from Bill I'm sure she will. She'll make sure he's gone - permanently!

Carter didn't say what Mrs. Clinton should do with her husband should she win in White House. Headfirst into the garbage can would be my suggestion.
But let us get on our knees and pray that we never reach that particular moment.

If Hillary decides she wants it all- and wants it in 2004, she will divorce Bill for the sole reason of getting the sympathy vote. Look for papers to be filed in the late Spring...

I am stunned! Has Jimmy lost his mind? You don't say things like that! Geeze, Rosalynn, get the old man into a doctor. He needs meds.

I have a different theory .. I think Carter is floating a trial balloon. Remember the WH was run by polls. They never did anything without taking a poll about it.
Carter has been more than willing to do the Clinton's bidding all around the world .. even going out of his way to be rude to President Bush. I just don't see him saying this without prior approval from Hillary.
I think she's trying to get a feel for what the public reaction would be to her dumping Bill. I don't think she will do it .. but I think she might want to know what the public thinks about it .. and she might "temporarily" dump him in order to run for the WH .. and miracle of miracles .. they could reconcile afterwards.
We must NOT underestimate the demented, power hungry schemes of Hillary.

The 39th president said the former first lady needs to "let the general public know that she can stand on her own feet [before she seeks the White House] and that she has her own agenda and she's a good political player on her own."It's gonna be a tough undertaking for Shrillary. She can't even answer simple questions. The only reason she can get elected is because of the "Oprah Factor" in this country.

I had absolutely no doubt that Hitlery wanted to be President ... until now.
