Just as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton don't speak for the black community as a whole, neither do these "gay activist" speak for everyone who is gay. In fact, I'd say they speak for very few gay people, at least the one's I know.

Funny, I have not seen to much activism for that "majority" you hint on.

Most gay people I know would prefer to just live our lives. I would call us the silent majority, but somehow I think that will only draw more ire.
