I'm sorry to have to report that one of our own Freepers, TrappedInLiberalHell, has passed away. His profile is HERE
I met Chris this past summer and found him to be a brilliant young man, who unfortunately carried around a lot of painful psychological troubles. He wrote few posts here, but was an active and clever noter, and a very sweet young man.

You're right. Hard is an understatement. TLH replied to a smart-ass "jobs from hell" posting of mine and matched my fun, light-hearted, tone. How could I know that the witty additions to my list were made by someone in so much pain?
To: TrappedInLiberalHell
RIP Chris!
I will miss your keen wit and insightful posts.

I rarely feel compelled to post, although I spend a a great deal of time on FR. I always found TILH's posts sharp and thoughtful. I had no idea he was around my age until today.(for some reason I assume everyone but me here is an AARP member) Way too young to go, but I appreciate his contributions here, and he'll be missed.

I'm glad.

Oh my G-d, this so unspeakably tragic. My prayers and condolences to his family and friends. He'll truly be missed. :(
To: EggsAckley
Way, way too young. RIP.

Thank you for posting that thread, seamole.
#25 is very hard to read.
"who truly are not missed by anyone." That's not the case with you, Chris.
ping to those of you who chatted with him on that thread.
Now I am crying... when my husband gets home I'm going to go upstairs and pray for TILH.
To: seamole
That was wrenching, but thanks for posting it.
For me it brought back terrible memories of my high school friend Danny, who killed himself the first weekend he was supposed to come home from college.

Isn't that the sadly ironic thing? It's easy to bare your soul on the Internet for some reason... but the people you talk with are anonymous, for the most part, and cannot help you, really.

I remember many of his posts. Always gracious, thoughtful and at times, witty. This is so sad. If you read some of his recent posts, as summarized by Sabertooth, you can hear echos of melancholy. How truly upsetting. May God smile upon his soul and his family.

Terrible news. Chris was a very witty contributor to this forum. I happened upon another of his
posts that might shed some light on his experiences.
My condolences to his wife. My family is riding a daily emotional roller coaster as my dad is in the ICU at Balboa Naval Hospital.

"who truly are not missed by anyone."Unfortunately, he was absolutely 100% on target with that post. Many depressed people receive nothing but total ostracism from society.

I'm very sorry to hear this.
RIP Chris.
To: EggsAckley
I remember his posts, and always enjoyed threads that he was involved in. I'll add his and his family's name to the prayer list at church, and to my own prayer list.
Too sad for words.
To: EggsAckley
That's so terrible. He'll be well remembered.
