I'm sorry to have to report that one of our own Freepers, TrappedInLiberalHell, has passed away. His profile is HERE
I met Chris this past summer and found him to be a brilliant young man, who unfortunately carried around a lot of painful psychological troubles. He wrote few posts here, but was an active and clever noter, and a very sweet young man.

I'm so sorry someone so young has left us. I'm glad to know that he found comfort here!

"I will never forget this quote. Well stated."
Yes it is, Dolly--so very true.
I like the idea of a fund for flowers for his family.
Since he was so patriotic, would a red/white/blue bouquet be nice, or would it be strange? Perhaps with Free Republic on the ribbons?
To: EggsAckley
He is in my prayers. May God have mercy on his soul.
RIP TILH.

Red White and Blue from FR sounds perfect to me.
What would we need?
A paypal account, A florist in the area, An address to send it to? Permission from the Family and JimRob?
To: EggsAckley
Sad news indeed...he was way too young to be gone. My prayers go out to his family.

How very sad. I know how hard this is for those he left behind. May God comfort and bless his family and friends, and welcome Chris home with loving arms.

Joining our FReeper family in prayer and remembrance ...
Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the warm thoughts this young man has left with many FReepers. We mourn the loss of Chris, Creator God, and ask that You be the Comforter for his wife and sister and family and his many friends. May we touch the lives of others in the same sweet way Chris has touched so many. In the Name of Jesus, we praise You for his life ... Amen

Such sad news 8^(
He was an immensely enjoyable poster, with good insight and great humor.
He made an observation here, that I had never considered before. It was a simple observation about a difference between Walmart and Target stores, that made me slap myself along side my head and ask myself why I didn't think of that. That is a sign of a great poster and a valuable member of FR.
May his family take comfort in the love Freepers felt toward Chris, and may God comfort all Chris's friends and family with His love and grace.
RIP TrappedinLiberalHell

Chris never fully recovered from the death of his mom, Antonia, a published writer, and generally brilliant woman. Now he is finally with her. RIP
To: EggsAckley
Eggs, please pass my condolences on to his family. Prayers for them.

I exchanged puns with Chris, but never a harsh word. I'm surprised to learn he was so young, and I will miss him.

FYI, Chris' widow is lurking on this thread and is extremely happy to see all of the heart felt notes. Thank all of you. She may be able to post here soon.
To: EggsAckley
So sorry to hear of this - TILH had an awesome screename - you couldn't make fun of his like you can mine. I recall chatting with him on baseball threads. The Lord understands our private pain like no one else, including ourselves. He not only understands but takes our pain upon Himself. Go with God, Chris, to where the tomatoes are always ripe for the picking and the outfield grass is always sparkling green.
To: EggsAckley
I loved his screen name, his witty posts, and some of the greatest taglines:
"Ban aural sects! Stop listening to Scientology books on tape!"
"Do Muslim androids dream of electric goats?"
Rest in peace, gentle soul.
