This whole brouhaha isn't worth a minute of grown-up's time.

Spoiled brats that have too much time on their hands.

I had to work my way through -- including my Masters -- admittedly a very long time ago. However, I seem to recall that the issues we crusaded for were substantially more significant than this fluff stuff; mere child's play.

The upside to this mess, however, is that there is a validated swing back from hedonistic secularism -- and even a decided, and steady, tilt to the right by the student community, leaving the leftist academics in their own discredited dust.

Incidently, this tilt toward a more fervent fundamentalist return to the philosophic roots of the culture has been identified by Huntington, Lewis, Kaplan, Pipes, and others as a world-wide trend; and it appears to be deeply entrenched as a multi-civilization swing in the sine curve.
