Sigh. It's always about race.

The police association president said that if Ms. Johnson and other black apprentice officers who experienced problems had been placed "with some black trainers, they'd pass with flying colors, get good grades and become great officers."

She probably would pass in that situation. Wink, wink. She probably would get good grades in that situation. Nudge, nudge. But from the decription of her abilities, I fail to see how this woman could ever become a great officer.

But that's not what's important, right?

Based on the statements in this article, it seems it is more important to have black female officers just to have black female officers than it is to get good officers that can enforce the law without getting themselves or others hurt.
