I support a flat tax which necessarily means that some pay more than others. The Europeans adopted a "flat" tax and then added an income tax on top of it. In Texas we have no income tax but we have very high property taxes. Now we have strong proposals for higher property taxes plus an income tax. This "flat" tax movement scares the bejeezus out of me because there is NO guarantee that the income tax will die with its implementation.

Hey Tex, how you been. The flat tax I support is tha bases of all. It is a flat tax on income with no deductions and the law codified to forbid a national sales tax piggybacked on top of it. That will pare down the IRS greatly so we get more bang for the buck.
