UPDATE (10 PM):Bobby's been charged with battery by Fulton County authorities.

The wayward couple spent this afternoon at the Fulton County Magistrate Court's North Annex in Dunwoody.

WAGA-TV/DT (Fox 5) had "exclusive" pictures of Houston on their 6P newscast, sporting what appeared to be a bruise on her left jaw.

I'm left with the question that we've all asked about her since she got with that thug: Why?

If Whitney Houston is stupid enough to remain in this situation, then I find it increasingly difficult to muster much sympathy for her. My concern is for their daughter. She should not be exposed to his violence/drug use, and a mother with any shred of decency would leave for the sake of the child. Then again, if Whitney's still using drugs herself ... my hope is that little Bobbi turns out to be NOTHING like her parents.

Whitney was in court the last time Bobby got arrested. Her hair was purple and looked like it had been done with a chainsaw.

I passed the pair of them on the "autobahn" (Georgia 400) two weeks later. She still looked like she had been drug through the deep end of the pool by a speedboat and put away wet.
