Fourth, the President MUST fight this. He is the one that did not veto this obvious case of freedom of speech limitations. He is responsible for upholding the Constitution and we MUST remind him about this over and over and over. High comedy. HIS ADMINISTRATION IS OUT CHEERING AND DEFENDING THE DECISION TODAY!!!!!! Wake up America.

Yes, I support President Bush. I am not happy however, that this supreme court seems to go against the constitution at every turn.LOL,,nice try. Your guy supported it and signed it. Today his administration is defending it. You can run but you can't hide. You can try to fool someone, but you will only be fooling yourself.

No one's rights are infringed in any manner by a political TV ad. How can you possibly reconcile "Congress shall make no law.......abridging freedom of speech, or of the press"..... with congress passing a law which abridges BOTH freedom of speech and freedom of the press at one fell swoop? Well said.

People like Nixon, Reagan and George the first? You'd prefer people like Clinton? The alternative is Dean or Kerry or Clark. How about Al Sharpton?
George 41 gave us Scalia, Thomas and Souter -- and he was clearly fooled on Souter. If W has the same batting average the good guys get control of the court.

The point is clear, Republicans and Democrats have all put morons on the SC. It's just another scare tactic to keep Pubbies on the reservation.

You are right in that a Pub president is no guarantee of a good court appointment. A Dem president, however, is a guarantee of a bad one.

Oops, there's the fear for sale. Sorry, I'm not buying. I don't vote for Dems so I'll never be to blame for that problem. And I refuse to vote for people who ignore and destroy the constitution, no matter what party.

And I refuse to vote for people who ignore and destroy the constitution, no matter what party. I can respect that, but I'm playing to win. Not voting isn't going to protect the Constitution. I can't see how voting third party is going to help either.
You're involvement would be very much appreciated in a Republican Primary.

Not voting isn't going to protect the Constitution.Perhaps, but neither does voting apparently.

Sorry, in most primaries in Illinois, there is no contest. And GWB will not be in a contested primary.
I can't see how voting third party is going to help either.
You can't see it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't help.
