"Run and ad somewhere".

That is the question ... Where. What newspaper or other media outlet is going to take our money to run an ad the SCOTUS has ruled we can't? It seems to me they have limited our FreeSpeech by binding the hands of those whom we would use to magnigy that speech to the masses.

Is the ruling that I/We can't buy and ad or that those media outlets can't sell us ad space?

There is a little-known wrinkle in the FEC law that REQUIRES the ad to run. Whenever a candidate for federal office comes to a broadcast station with an ad and pays to run it, the station MUST run the ad, and cannot censor it in any way.

That's how an ad man named Zimmerman (whom I know) was able to run an ad on the ABC (as I recall) radio network for Barry Commoner, candidate for President, which used the word "bullsh*t" in describing the Republicans and Democrats jointly.

If we gin up such an ad, properly organized and planned, it WILL get run, and it WILL challenge the powers that be. This can be done.
