"And I will say to my soul, 'Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry.'"
-Luke 12:19 (All I did was a Google search for Bible, and I found Crosswalk.com's Bible search function).

"If from human motives I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, LET US EAT AND DRINK, FOR TOMORROW WE DIE."
1 Corinithians 15:32 (Those are three verses that I found.)

There is also one in Ecclesiastes although I don't recall exactly where.

You're right!
"So I commended pleasure, for there is nothing good for a man under the sun except to eat and to drink and to be merry, and this will stand by him in his toils {throughout} the days of his life which God has given him under the sun."
- Ecclesiastes 8:15

Given the number of occurrences, one might call the phrase a Biblical theme. Thanks :)

Farrell, who worked at a hair salon, had a 6-year-old daughter.Sad - she was beautiful. Appears the Lord had other plans for her.

I am sure I once read that more loggers are killed by falling limbs than falling trees. A logger I knew was killed a couple of years ago when a large branch fell on him. He wasn't even cutting that particular tree or anything, he was just walking through the woods on the way to where he was harvesting some hardwoods when WHACK, he was gone.
It's too bad about the woman. She was quite lovely.

Thats why branches hanging in Douglas Firs (and probably other trees) are called Widow Makers.

Anything hanging in the woods is called a 'widowmaker', but this is the most feared:
As a tall, conical evergreen starts to fall, the top portion has to accelerate to keep up with the lower part -- often bending back far enough to break off completely.
This log usually lands right where the faller was standing as he made the falling cuts.
I'm just a 'short-logger' (firewood), but by this time I've usually scambled far away and crouched behind another LARGE tree.

What Bible verse says that?
And, aren't all Bible verses "old?"

How sad...

Notice the verse is saying that if the claims of Christianity are untrue, go ahead and live it up, because there's nothing to live for but one's own pleasure.
To: RedBloodedAmerican; Pyro7480
Also, if I recall correctly Paul was quoting "eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die" from Plato...

This sort of thing is exactly why I spend my free time at home freeping. Those trees are dangerous, and they're all over the place.
