Posting and running. Still busy here. (((((Group hug))))) I'll get back here later after my company leaves tonight. I can't let a Thursday go by without reading my weekly dose of John.
One of my favorite hymns Aunt Maggie. It was written by Fanny J. Crosby, a blind poet and hymn writter. Since she couldn't read the Bible (pre Brail), her grandmother helped her memorize most of the Bible while she was still young.

Blessèd assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long.
Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long.
Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long.
Sorry I missed your day. I'll be back later to read it. Have a good day Sister.
