Well, Cosmo [the Jack Russell] tolerated my daughter's pulling of his nubby tail, sitting on him, etc... up until recently.
Now, it's as if he realizes she should know better now, at age 3+. He will growl and bark @ her if she gets too rough.
Elvis [the boxer/golden retriever/Heinz 57 dog] is just as sweet as he can be. (Probably 'cause he is a short bus dog, lol!)

That was the case with us as well. Our lab is still with us--but after our chow mix snapped at our son (the final episode of many aggressive things he did), we finally put him down. :(
We can still remember the way that dog looked at our newborn--my husband always said, "Merlin looked at our newborn son "like he was a roasted chicken".
