Has there been any news on what caliber that whack-job has been shooting? They are still withholding that information. The only thing I heard was a reporter on channel 4 said it was a 50 caliber weapon. The station then went to break and when the news came back on, they said it was a mistake and the weapon was NOT a 50 caliber. I suspect it is and the news reporter slipped.

There was one report of a horse or stock trailer being shot and the person pulling it saw several juveniles with a rifle on an overpass at the time.

It seems to me unlikely to be a 50 ca. That would do a lot of damage to a vehicle- but some people didn't even report their cars had been shot until the woman was killed, which suggests the impact and hole must have been rather small. Also, 50 ca. is very loud and not exactly concealable and would attract attention of anyone in the area when it was fired

There has been an anti-.50 jihad in the works for a while now, just waiting for an incident. I ferverently hope the rifle (assuming it is a rifle) involved is a plain-jane .30 caliber.

It isn't a .50... the pic of the bullet hole in the white car of the woman that was killed leads me to believe it was a .30 caliber or smaller.
I've shot .50's for years and I know how the damage on a sheet metal target looks.
