Not that I think he has a chance, but if he wins with her as his VP, she'll have him rubbed out by the end of his first week in office.

As I've been saying for over a year, I'm worried about VICE President Clinton. Think of it:

• She keeps he promise not to run for president in '04
• Two years and one day into her term the first slotter gets arkincided
• Under Article XXII, she can still run for two full terms as the incumbent
• The Hillary!™ Decade begins
• Hillary uses the Patriot Act to it's fullest extent, and beyond
• At the end of the Hillary!™ Decade there is a National Emergency "temporarily" delaying the elections
• Under the pressure of the National Emergency, the 2nd and 22nd amendments are repealed...

Just as an aside, with the Clinton's love of all things Military - Wesley Clark is VERY expendible, isn't he?

I love Hillary Clinton and we will certainly keep that in mind...Hillary Clinton — she's fabulous. She's a great person and a great leader. -Gen. Wesley Clark

Or maybe he said Hillary Clinton - she's fatuous. She's grating, spiteful, and crooked as a jay-bird.

This is all such a load of crap.

Does anyone believe that Wesley Clark even breathes without consulting the Clintons first? Is it remotely believable by anyone on this planet that Clark would have made this statement without a prior directive from Hillary?

"Oh, I'm so surprised and flattered, but as you all know I'm busy doing such a great job for New York, blah, blah, blah...."

Wesley Clark, in a bold statement of his own Tuesday, said he has not ruled out Hillary Rodham Clinton as a running mate

Of course not, he wants to live.

Heillary was already co-President. VP is a step down, but would expose her to great campaign scrutiny, as much as a pres run.

The idea of Clark as pres and Hil as VP is as ridiculous as a marionette controlling the puppeteer.

More likely, Clark got the permission of the beast thru intermediaries to make this statement as a way to counter the Gore endorsement of Dean. It may influence Hil supporters to support Dean, and has no downside. Takes some steam out of the Gorebot's speech today, as well.

I figure the one thing that can be counted upon from Hillary is she will not run on any ticket that she believes might lose. She rightly understands that she will have to make her move at the right time- a premature move that ended in not getting elected would be total failure.

Bill and Hillary are backing Clark. To this point he's still just a pawn they are trying to promote to queen. If he loses out to Dean it'll be like "oh well, back to the drawing board". If they get Clark into position and she figures he can win it she'll be on his ticket. It's just that simple. If it looks like Bush will be too strong, she'll "finish her term as Senator" with no ground lost.

HILLARY!© on the ticket would result in a massive Republican turnout .

That would be a stupid move by the Dems.

A potential nominee is smart if he doesn't criticize the Widder Clinton. He might have an unfortunate accident on the way to the convention.

Wow. Lending her support to European Socialists 20 years ago. This is the culmination of a 20 year plan. She is dangerous.

No, she'll wait just over 2 years. As null and void pointed out, that means she can run for two more full terms as an incumbent.

Also, I haven't checked the exact words of her "promises" to New York, but the Vice President of the United States is also the President of the United States Senate. If she promised to server for 6 years in the Senate, then running for VP doesn't break that promise at all.

Also, if the Clark/Hillary ticket loses, it will be all Clarks fault and Hillary won't have lost any election at all. So there really isn't a down side to her runnig.

Also, I don't expect Dean to get the nomination. The Clintons will do something to stop him, or there will be some kind of mysterious "accident" that takes him out of the race, perhaps after he already has the delegates needed for the nomination. That will throw everything onto the convention floor, and a Clinton approved (both Bill and Hill approved) ticket will be the final result.

BTW, there was another thread on this same topic earlier today, "Clark Eyes Hillary for VP Spot"

"Hillary Clinton — she's fabulous. She's a great person and a great leader."

That statement is all any sane person would ever need to know about Wesley Clark.

If Clark gets a Clinton endorsement (Bill or Hill) he's back in the race.

And you know the beauty of that move from their perspective? Any such accident would be blamed on Bush.

"She's a great person and a great leader."

Just as he sees himself. Too bad his superiors say the opposite. He is also a liar.
