I'd go bonkers. How do you ever manage?Sigh.
But my in-laws live half the state away, so we only make appearances at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. 95% of the time it's chit-chat about people I don't know. The other 5% calls for me to leave the room--although when she found out that the President was in Iraq for Thanksgiving, she figured he did it to upstage Hillary. As I took in a deep breath in preparation, my hubby said, "don't do it."

I'm putting on a body condom and heading over to take a look. Color me shadenfreude!

"lol! Maybe we should have been more kind to our friendly "allies", eh Mr. Kerry?"
Kerry needs to realize that France, Germany, Canada and Russia stiff-armed us, not the other way around.
To: Howlin
Dean just called the Iraqi Governing Counsel "stooges" of the Americans. And Dean says there was no thread from Saddam...Bush will prove him wrong in the future.
To: BigSkyFreeper
Go Kerry!! Hit Dean over the head with that folding chair as the Titanic goes down!LOL
You have just summed up the democratic party.!!
To: mass55th
Then I haven't missed anything....if the questions are lame. Just from the short time I've been watching, seems like they must have taken a vow to bash Bush tonight, not each other.

Wasn't the "Clymer" story at least a 10-day one? Interesting how comment not intended for public consumption was worthy of 10 days of media handwringing...but the use of the f-word in reference to a sitting president is merely a blip on the media radar...and a blip worthy of admiration, apparently.
To: BigSkyFreeper
Dean want Arab troops.
But do the Iraqis?

It is surreal. The double standard always has been breathtaking. Naturally, Republicans also reject those types, by and large, so maybe that's why the media can play it up. The dems accept anyone who wants to join up, as long as they gain something from it for themselves.

The UN, the UN, the UN. Gawd. No democrat can ever be trusted in the role of Commander-In-Chief.

On a serious note, God help us all if one of these morons, by some fluke or dirty deed, would get elected.

The Deerhunter was based on him. F'n A!
Actually I'm not able to enjoy watching this with the rest of you. Isn't on here yet.
Oh good! Now I don't HAVE to watch it.

(What will YOU do when Howard Dean or Hillary Clinton is president?)
To: Howlin
Each candidate in one sentence:
Dean: Mr. Frontrunner, his latest strategy is to tone down the anger and run out the clock.
Kerry: Casting himself in a "Gore" light, taking the role of a fighter, and even resorting to Gore-like "There's a family in Salem" type stories.
Gephardt: Republicans are stopping progress on education, healthcare, and the economy; claims he's the guy to change things.
Edwards: He's against special interests, and claims to be the outsider who will fight against them.
Lieberman: Reverse the tax cuts and give hope to people by creating 10 million new jobs.
Clark: Claims he alone can beat Bush on foreign policy and national security, and therefore is the only one who can beat him in 2004.
Braun: Claims that people should vote her in because she's a woman, and it's time for the "Men Only" sign to be removed from teh White House.
Kucinich: Says he alone voted against the PATRIOT Act and the Iraq war, and that we must reverse course in our foreign policy and security strategy.
Sharpton: Bush is bad, and we must all fight against him and his failed administration.

If any of these people win in 04, I will be inconsolable...and terrified.

Yep........ but that isn't in the works until the clear that stage down to one of them and then are in debates with President Bush. Until then this is nothing more than a show for their primary voters.... as it should be.

Help me out here. Name 1 UN sanctioned or controlled operation that was ever a success. (No, that is not a trick question.) :-)
