You're welcome. Frank says Grover has become party to an agenda of activists that are not working with President Bush, but are working with OUR ENEMIES in the war.
To: Cinnamon Girl
Was Grover in his office that day? Should be easy to find out.

Grover sounds breathless right now, like someone who is very excited with nerves. Frank sounds confident in his assertions. Grover is now saying people should go to Islamists.org or something to see that they support liberty.
To: Cinnamon Girl
I have WAITED for Grover to be confronted. Gaffney is the perfect person. 'Bout time!

Yeah, but have you ever heard him speak to the matter directly? Not much, that's true.

Excluding the possibility of some totally personal gripe, which seems unlikely for Frank Gaffney, there is no beneficial reason for Frank to assert that Grover met with Sami, whereas, there is every reason for Grover to, in retrospect, deny having met with him.
To: Cinnamon Girl
Grover has been a very positive force in politics for a generation, but the same could have been said for Buchanan. I hope Grover didn't go around the bend or something.

But that's exactly Frank's assertion. That Grover isn't a team Bush player. He's a team Islamo-fascist player.
To: Cinnamon Girl
they're on break now but ended with Grover simply stating that while all of the associations noted by Gaffney are likely true the conclusions one would reach about Grover should not be asserted because he - Grover - himself - states he has done nothing wrong other than associate with and support the terrorist groups. This was the point where I gave up and figure Gaffney is right on point and Grover should not be associating with known terrorists ... back on now!

I read the article and it is very damning. Grover has not said one thing to convince me it is all a mix-up, I just can't understand why? If he was used by these people, unwittingly, then all he needs to do is fess-up. If not, he is no patriot.

He claims he's been doing outreach with Orthodox Jews. If that was ever true, it can't be now.
This has to be the hottest show Hugh has had in a while. The football stuff was a snooze.
To: Cinnamon Girl
One bad thing? Start with embarrassing POTUS when, on Grover's word to Carl Rove, a couple of Islamo-facists were present at a mosque where POTUS spoke.

Frank has a calm eloquence which reminds me of Daniel Pipes. Very straight arrows.
Frank is quoting John Zobgy as saying that Grover is essential to the WH outreach to Muslim groups, and got Sami Al Arien into a meeting with Karl Rove in 2002.
To: onyx
Is Kalid Sifari an Islamist? Frank says Kahlid has sympathies with suicide bombers, funding their families, and has links to al Queda supporting organizations. Grover denies this.

Yes, according to everything I've read. Grover is lying. He's trying desperately to weasel out of it. Debbie Shussel wrote about this over one year ago. I am telling you, I have WAITED for this very day.

Grover seems to be only denying that he ever got any of these people meetings with administration officials. Norquist claims all of these characters are above the board, democracy lovers.

Summary: Grover says Frank isn't allowed at the "Center Right Coalition" because he raised issued about some muslims at the White House. He's saying Frank has financial problems and that's why he's attacking Grover. !!!
Frank says he believes Grover has been persuading GOP candidates to meet with CAIR, Muslim Council, some other group in LA-- he says people should look at his article and Grover's website and make their own decision about what's up.
To: BibChr
Hugh just said he's replaying this whole conversation in the third hour of his show which is like 9pm in LA or something because Savage's show gets wedged in there.
To: Cinnamon Girl; RonDog; ALOHA RONNIE
Thank you for this thread, Cinnamon Girl. I otherwise would have missed Hugh's show this afternoon!
RD & RA: Repeating in 3rd hour.
