Gore was especially intrigued by Dean's use of the Internet, a medium he, himself, took an active interest in advancing while vice president. LOL....he invented it!

This is algore paying Hillary! back for "sucessfully" freezing him out for '04. Now Gore can be (be able to designate) the VP candidate. Expect Hillary! to crank up her ABCCBSNBC public relations committee. By the end of the week, algore will be accused of everything save beastiality and cannibalism.

Imagine this happening to the SORE/LOSERMAN duet!

I'm sure he called Joe (Lieberman) and let his old running mate know what was going to happen.

He showed some when he avoided using Clinton in his 2000 run. He also showed some in the Elian debacle.
He fights like a girl but at least he sometimes tries.

A former senior adviser to Gore who now works for a rival campaign accused him of simply looking ahead to his own political career, or perhaps trying to upstage Senator Hillary Clinton of New York, who has made news in recent days. I find this the most revealing quote in the article.

All the articles I've read about Gore this morning talk about his "evolving" since the lost in 2000. Evolving into a left-wing libber is what they mean.
But any thinking person knows that Gore hasn't "evolved". He was always a liberal wacko...just read his book. The MediaCrats allowed him to refashion himself into a "centrist". What we're seeing now is Gore unplugged. The "real Al Gore" as they used to say. This is the way he would have governed had he won in 2000. Scary stuff.

Brit Hume said last night that Lieberman found out about Gore's endorsement of Dean through the media.

The phone must not have been working. I'm certain Al would have wanted his pal Joe to know what was going on.
Come on this guy invented the internet.

I'm sure he called Joe (Lieberman) and let his old running mate know what was going to happen.Actually he did not. Carl Cameron on Fox reported that the Lieberman camp told him Lieberman found out through the media.
I see the actual endorsement will take place shortly. It will be very interesting to see what kind of rhetoric he uses.

Gore's move is so neat--a triple play.
(1) Gore outmaneuvers the calculating Clintons who desperately tried to control 2004 by injecting Clark into the mix, (2) Gore slaps down the hopes of Holy Joe LIEberman (who considered himself the likely heir to the nomination as Gore's handpicked 2000 running mate), and (3) Gore positions himself for 2008 (knowing Dean will lose 2004), in effect, saying," Hillary, go take a hike."
And Gore completes smearing the Clintons by doing the Dean endorsement a few blocks away from Clinton's Harlem office.
Beautiful. But, of course, Gore is still a loser and Dean still loses against Bush's economy.
