Do not be so quick to assume that I don't do my homework. Try Googling the phrase "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

You'll find that 30% of the cites give it to Lao-Tse. 60% give it to Chairman Mao. And the remaining 10% give it to Confucius, or to an "unmaned oriental philosopher" (the last refuge of lazy writers).

I don't have a copy of Mao's Little Red Book. But if that phrase appears in there, the Op Research of the GOP will hang that quote around Dean's neck like a big red albatross. Feel free to duplicate my research.

Like I said, George Will missed the metaphorical bus on this one. LOL.
