Imus asks Newsweek’s Howard Fineman if he thinks the Clintons are supporting General Wesley Clark in the Democratic Presidential election.

Now is that likely to happen? No. But a very close advisor of theirs sketched out that scenario to me and I think if you watched Hillary on Meet The Press yesterday in her girlish laughter at Tim Russert’s repeated questions about her intentions I don’t think she would mind that. I think that would be just fine as far as they are concerned, in the meantime I’m sort of cynical enough to think they want to make as much a hash of this as possible to make sure that President Bush gets reelected and to make sure the road is clear for Hillary in 2008. That’s my theory.”
