the goodness of her heart
Is that an "oxymoron" or a "contradiction in terms"?

NBC forces all of their media outlets to endure multiple Fineman appearances a week, whether each show wants him on or not. It's nauseating.

The goodness of her heart? Talk about wading into a shallow pool

Yes, and don't think Howard Fineman of Newsweak didn't clear this statement carefully with hillary before making it.
Hillary's most trusted and loyal supporters in the media run the New York Daily News and Newsweak. Most of the rest of the media are on board too, but not quite so slavishly.

If Dean gets the nomination, he gets the DNC.
Even if he loses, it makes him the front-runner for 2008 - not Hillary.

Howard Fineman, the man who is never right! What a loser! The only two people that are dumber than Howard Fineman are Chris Matthews and his "not to bright" wife. MSNBC should be ashamed!

Too bad about that massive, fatal heart attack Dean is going to have in April, May or June. Really too bad.

. . .her running at all, is sickening, but this scenario could well unfold IF Hillary believes she can win. Otherwise, she will 'honor' her comittment and wait till 08.
We know just from Hillary's trip to the troops; that she was the 'political turkey'; and yet. . .the media chose to make the political turkey the one on the tray that GW picked up.
This is the scary part of a Hillary candidacy. She cannot do it without them; and there are no signs in sight; that she will have to.

I wish I knew if Gore endorsing Dean was an effort to wrest control of the DNC out of the Clintons' dirty paws.
Dean becoming the dem nominee by gaining the primary votes outright ends the "hash" scenario.
