No. You are wrong.

Yankel was killed at the very beginning of the incident. A child (I'll bet you don't know his name without looking it up) was killed in an accident after being struck by a vehicle driven by a Hasidim. The gathering crowd was incited by a guy named Price (now serving 20 years) to get the Jews. Yankel was wrong place wrong time. Limrick Nelson (now in prison) stabbed him fatally. This happened within hours after the original incident. Sharpton had nothing at all to do with it.

As I wrote, Al is a buffoon and a racist but give him his due when he behaves properly (calling for quiet after he was stabbed). Dropping every racial incident in NY at his feet just because it makes you feel good isn't honest, and we should do our best to be honest.

Okay I went back and checked the articles at the time of the incidents and your version appears to be correct. Sharpton was doing his inciting after Yankel Rosenbaum was killed not before which is not much better, but he was spitting on Yankel's grave more than putting him in it.

In terms of knowing the name of the kid hit in the car accident you are correct I don't know his name, nor do I know the names of any of the other tens of thousands of people killed in road accidents each year. His like all others was certainly a tragedy but hardly a reason to murder people or for Sharpton to incite hatred. In the Freddy's incident in Harlem I believe his incitement did precede the violent deaths that took place.
