After serving 17 years of hard time in Pine Bluff, I finally made my escape a couple of years ago. I am now enjoying fulltime RV travel. Personal business brings me back to Pine Bluff periodically, so I'm able to keep up with the town's......ummmmmm.......progress.

Hard time? Were you down at Cummins? Can you give me your address, I bet the authorities would like to talk to you.

Pine Bluff is a good and much unfairly maligned town, with no more of it's fair share of problems than many cities in this nation enjoy.
Something tells me that you probably trash wherever you've been.

Since Pine Bluff, AR, is ranked #1 and Memphis, TN, is ranked #2 on the list of Most Dangerous Metro Areas, I am all too familiar with the progress you mentioned. Memphis, TN, is also ranked #10 on their list of Most Dangerous Cities. The source "Takes into account six basic crime categories: murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and motor vehicle theft. All cities with populations greater than 75,000 that report crime data for those categories to the FBI are included in the rankings." While this may be difficult for some to accept, it's very hard to argue a counter position. Memphis and Pine Bluff obviously share the same problems.
