I do NOT want a leader who know "what it's like to be poor".....I want someone who knows how to help people be NON-POOR (and that ain't by emulating or knowing the "poor." Most Poor people are poor, USUALLY because they have POOR HABITS.

I WANT my president to be smarter than me! I understand the implications of a Yale/Harvard degree have to many Americans, but still, I prefer to have an educated, worldly president. This has always been a thorn in my side WRT Bush. He revels in the fact he never owned a passport and that's he's from a small town in Texas, etc. He should be proud of his education and successes... then again, he did win the presidency, so what the hell do I know. Maybe just cause I live in CT in the belly of the beast, I don't know.
