Here's the news, young man: JFK was more than likely killed for the sins of his father.
His transgressions are very common knowledge...
Kennedy's transgressions, as you refer to them, are not acknowledged to this day by his deluded admirers.
And I can assure you that though there is a St. John, I do not think JFK was the one who they have in mind...
Being from sunny Kalifornicate, you've never had the displeasure of seeing the iconic, backlit photo of Saint Jack adorning myriad bedroom dressers all over eastern Massachusetts and have no conception of how deeply delusional NE liberals can be. It's not pretty.
I would ask what flaws do you think are acceptable in a President and which ones are not.
In addition to my brief against the Kennedy scum? I don't have the time.
Bush and Kennedy come from money.
The Bush family didn't make their money running a massive criminal enterprise.
They both have father's with influence.
Kennedy's father made his influence felt by buying people (journalists, voters, etc) while staying in the background and manipulating events, while George H.W. Bush gained influence by openly working his way up through the political system.
They both have questionable extracurricular activities.
W drank as a young man and was rumored to have experimented with drugs (as a very large minority of us did in the 60s and 70s). I am unaware of W getting laid in the WH, skinny dipping with the secretaries while Laura slept upstairs or buying votes with cash, all of which Kennedy did. Well except that it wasn't Laura upstairs when Jack was boffing the stenos.
;O)
They both could be accused of taking a little too good care of friends and family...
That is what politics are about...
No sh!t, Sherlock.
Did you wish to compare or contrast Bush and Kennedy?
I just did.
