Hate to break it to you but Caucasian, referring to race, has nothing to do with Azeris and Armenians. It is derived from Caucasoid, which Azeris and Armenians are certainly a part of, just as Negro is related to Negroid and Mongol to Mongoloid(though no one would call an Asian a Mongol these days.)

If everyone else gets to make up a self-descriptive term, I can too, and I don't choose Caucasian, unless blacks go back to Negroid and Asians go back to Mongoloid.

Granted. But the PC police have gotten upset of calling "native Americans" "Indians" so much that the term "Indian" is now considered pejorative, even though we know that "Indian" means someone from the Indian subcontinent. We're just taking the natural extension of that. If "Indian" does not refer to the native people's of America, but to people from India and to use it to refer to native Americans is considered a slur -- well, then by golly, "Caucasian" being used to refer to white people is a slur as well since it refers to people from the Caucasus. You can't have it both ways -- "Indian" as a slur; and "Caucasian" not. Both are or both are not.

Arabs, Iranis and Indians are Caucasian too, so the Caucasian club would be kinda dumb. They could have those of Italian, of English etc. heritage. An Asian club is equally stupid as a European club -- you gonna tell me a lebanese, an indian, An Uzbek and a Japanese have commonalities?
