A student expelled from Parkway High for a year for having Advil, an over-the-counter pain reliever, will not be allowed to return to the school.

Why does this school even need a pricipal or administative staff? If they are not going to make decisions regarding how to enforce these rules, then these people serve no function. A rule book is in charge of this school. Why should the taxpayers pay a salary to the staff of this school? Anybody can open a rulebook an apply the strictest punishment to the offender.

The parents would do the best thing by taking their daughter elsewhere. It would be a mistake to put her under the guidance of these fools. It's not worth the legal fight.

Just another school system whose administrators claim they know nothing of what unlawful drugs might look like.

NOT!

School boards hold such hearings in a closed session, but parents have the right under state law to request that such sessions be open. Herpin didn't make that request

Why on earth did she miss the chance to put this moron's face on the news?
