I'm still stuck on that tabloid story in which they say Scott put the tan pants on Laci.

If he did this, then WHY would he commit himself to her having disappeared wearing black pants/white shirt? After having struggled to put tan pants on a dead pregnant person, there is no way he wouldn't REMEMBER exactly what she was wearing when she "went missing". Then if the body were ever found, that part of his story would ring true.

He couldn't commit himself to admitting that she was wearing the same outfit from the night before, so he gave the complete spectrum opposite.

....Or....he was taken by surprise when asked and remembered the black tarp on the bottom and white pillow case on top. "White top, black bottoms". Gobs of jewelry.

My suspiciion is that Laci didn't really have time to change clothing before whatever violence happened. She may have had her top off and was about to change into the pj top. I don't see him re-dressing her but I can see him tying the waistband tight and duct taping her up. For one thing, besides the preventing a baby from being born, he was attempting to make a neat rolled up package. Easy to attach weights to the extremities and roll out of a boat. As far as the bed and blood stains goes, I can see Laci having to lie down after a punch and vomiting. He may have taken advantage at that point and smothered her. It occured to me today that maybe the pillow case was what was dumped in the dumpster near by that the scent dog was "interested" in.
