Though I am not a Dick Gregory fan, I recall a story he told when he was about to eat a chicken dinner in a restaurant and was told by some men in the restaurant that they would do to him whatever he did with that chicken. (Implying that if he left it alone and walked away, they would do the same to him; if he cut into it, they would cut into him). According to Gregory, he picked up the chicken and kissed it. I doubt the story is true (he lived to tell it if it is true), but funny nonetheless.

I've also heard Hamblin's retort attributed to Dick Gregory, but I don't know if Hamblin picked it up from him or thought of it independently, or if it just was a joke that had been around for a while in the black community.

Judging from the samples of e-mail here (Dzerrs, and 'Mrs. Hamilton the "Republican-Recovering"'), these idiots are indistinguishable from any of the other idiots on the Left. They all parrot each other with the same, trite code-words: Bush is an idiot, Bush is Hitler, Bush Lied, and so on. Like the Four Tops once sang, "It's The Same Old Song".
