[history]
Politically speaking, this past Thanksgiving Day could be momentous for all of us. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., was shown on hundreds of television stations across the globe visiting the U.S. military in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Not only does it earn her the award for being the Queen of Keen, but also the opinion of a veteran analyst of past presidential elections. "If anybody now believes that she won't run for the White House next year they are out of their minds! That woman would not have taken the risks of being in Kabul or Baghdad, unless she was desperate for votes."

I have a much different conclusion. The writer is like many General Officers, "fighting the last war".
Hillary is starting her campaign 5 years early. She is preparing the '08 campaign.
How about a little Hillary Repellant!!!!
The glorious '08 game can be played by all.
Let's all get started early.
Hell, they had Christmas stuff out in September.

There is a new tax-exempt foundation in the District of Columbia, the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation. It has been busy creating an infrastructure for the treatment of HIV/AIDS cases, has just consummated a major deal with drug companies in India, and has received a $3 million grant from George Soros, plus undisclosed sums from computer king Bill Gates.I find that to be odd. William the Impeached pursued Microsoft with his legal hired hands, hoping to drain its' bottomless coffers. And now Gates is supporting the very people who tried to take him to the cleaners?

I've said it before ...(note date of a previous post below) and... I'll say it again... It's typical "CLINTONISM" To: kattracks The ticket will be Hillary/Clark... NOT Clark/Hillary! 7/23/2003
She won't wait 4 more years and the leftist media has the steady beat of an anti Bush campaign pounding daily. The DemonicRAT convention will be a "DRAFT HILLARY" coronation.
The inept left leaning former NATO commander Wesley Clark knows and is waiting to be her "token" military/SECURITY running mate. 6 posted on 07/23/2003</B< 11:02 PM PDT by Bob Eimiller [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 1 | View Replies | Report Abuse

Hillery can dream all she wants about becoming president. It won't happen. Too many people across the political spectrum hate her. More hate her than love her. The indifferent don't want to be bothered with a lightning rod for trouble b!tch.
To: Bob Eimiller
I can't figure out if she has decided to make a run for it in 2004 or wait, but I think it's entirely possible she will run. I think she may want someone other than Wesley Clark for her #2--he's a Clinton creature anyway (would still be a two-star general without Bill's patronage) and may not draw many votes she wouldn't get anyway. I don't think Dean would take the V.P. slot, and his more devoted fans wouldn't be satisfied if he were just the V.P. nominee. Maybe Evan Bayh would be a more helpful choice for Hillary's purposes. If she's the nominee, she's got the leftists in her camp anyway and needs some gimmick to appeal to the less intelligent members of the middle-of-the-road category.
Peter Boyer's article on Clark in the November 17 issue of The New Yorker is surprisingly unflattering for something appearing in a leftist rag.
To: Verginius Rufus
Clark is the Left's answer to their obvious weakness when it comes to national security...
Hillary will NEED the appearance of a administration that is capable of protecting the country... A 4 star general..even one who is a poster child of the
military peter principle... provides the "perception" of filling that need.
Hillary...if she is the nominee...doesn't need a VP running mate for anything BUT to address her most obvious electoral weakness...other than the mass of voters that hate her putrid guts.

And now Gates is supporting the very people who tried to take him to the cleaners? Good point, but remember, as so many on our side have pointed out, liberals are stragely suicidal. So great is their contempt for conservatism, that they would ally with the very people who salivate at the thought of blowing them up, if only to ensure the defeat of their conservative nemesis.
