Donate Barbara Olson's excellent book on Hillary.

Give the book as Christmas presents. Our job is to inform people about her. We're just preaching to the choir here, which is fine, but ultimately not enough.

I think you underestimate the number of folks who can't stand Hillary! and have no interest in rehashing the Clinton years.

Howlin, I think she can be elected by never answering a question and never campaigning. That is her strategy. She wasn't to waltz in and be acclaimed as president. I swear. I think a campaign might be hard for her but she did do New York so maybe I am having wishful thinking.

Hillary has been on a "presidential listening and booksigning" tour since her book came out. She doing everything she can to appear presidential and skate by any tough questions. The media is aiding and abetting her presidential bid every step of the way. Just wait until Bill's book comes out and they have a chance to do another photo-op tour to raise their popularity.

Good points - we have to defeat her on the merits not just our gut feelings. We must do it in print and in person whenever possible.

This is the comment I sent to Opinion Journal re the article on her trip last week ==

When Senator Clinton told our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq that their efforts were appreciated but their mission was questionable, it occurred to me that she had never participated in or coached any team sports event. If she had any shred of natural respect for competition, she never would have made those remarks undermining the leadership of our country's War of Terror. She should be on Team America, but to her and other democrats the goal is strictly Power, even if they cripple the country in order to regain that power.

Good for you. We need to write more letters to newspapers about Hillary. We need to remind people of every dirty, rotten thing she's ever done.

her appearance today sealed her fate....she will never be president of this country. She avioded answers, proved she can still lie, and came off as an "elected" official, not a leader

First time I've watched MTP in years. Now I remember why.

Another pink outfit, reminiscent of her appearance before congress on Hillary Care.

The usual "we all have to take a deep breath" yada, yada, yada.

That maniacal laugh really gave me the creeps!

The other thing is that a lot of Democrats are scared to death of Howard Dean; she offers what appears to them to be a palatable, known alternative.

She is electable especially if she stops laughing. She comes across as knowledgable, serious and is not doing the naive trivial bashing of bush. Now I know that is her intent but I hate her like the plague. The great majority of citizens who don't follow her slimy trail will look at her and think she is statesmanlike

Yes you are right. And (not to make anyone here angry) it's time for many on FR to get their heads out of the sand and quit thinking and suggesting that the Democrats are done in Election-2004. It's time to quit thinking that way. She may be hated by many, but the mainstream media is KING, AND EVIL, AND INFLUENTIAL, and, at the same time, most Americans are ignorant and lazy when it comes to news and Hillary. There is trouble ahead!

The media is the greatest ruination of this country.

Here's my question: Does the RNC, President Bush, and Republican Senators and Representatives have the confidence and stomach to do what is necessary to defeat her? If they do not treat her as a dangerous entity that must be destroyed politically, she's gonna rip their heads off and spit the bones into the pile of opposition carcasses she and her husband have accumulated.

the beast showed today she is not presidential marterial....she looked as dumb as the other 9.......the era of the lying democrat is ending......

The GOP is riding into power and will be there for a while, and when the democrats come back into power the clinton crime machine will be gone from power.....

The short answer to your question: No.

We have all seen the RNC reach across the aisle, only to be repeatedly slapped around. The RNC has never adequately defended itself or its platform.

President Bush is not to be underestimated, but it will take a careful strategy to defeat her without appearing overpowering of the "little woman".
