How King of New York took battle to the Great Polariser

He has been hailed as the King Of New York. With his charming manners and ability to make or break celebrities, Graydon Carter is to the magazine world what Jay Leno is to the American talk show - powerbroker to the formerly, currently and would-be famous.

I love Vanity Fair, and I always assumed that Carter's editorial was read with vague amusement by others, as it was by me. The articles are great, the one about the family members of Osama Bin-Laden escaping the US before questioning was very well researched and leaves many unanswered questions. Also, a recent article concerning the Anthrax letters was equally fascinating. Carter hates Bush, but as a whole, left the body of the articles fair and with their own investigative staff, very interesting and different. I was surprised therefore to find that the most expensive page for advertisers is the page opposite his rants. (I mean he makes Barbra Streisand sound measured...)

Oh, That's right, all the important, really, really, really... smart people read Vanity Fair for it's editorial content. Casue "WE" all know that the really, really, really smart people all live in New York, Washington DC, Massachusettes, California, Eastern Virginia, Chicago and Seattle... and they NEED to help us all live our lives and wipe our rear.

The editor is so great, I mean he can "run" that sucessful magazine business, so he needs to help us find out who can run our country as a part of the national socialist democratic party...with Hillary (named after Sir Edmund Hillary) Clinton. hahahahahaha.

Hey, I've got a great idea for an investigative report. Just off the cuff ask Hillary what the margin for a cattle future is, and what a "short" or "covered call" or "strike price" is..... I mean she's made a bunch of money like that once just by reading the Wall Street Journal. I'm still looking for the cattle future primer in the Wall Street Journal, but all I get are the future prices and dates. Of course I'm not as smart as Hillary, so I just want her to help me make money like she did.

The Guardian is a notoriously left-wing and, therefore, inaccurate, newspaper. If they told me the sun would rise in the east today, morning would find me standing outside staring at the sky waiting to see if they're right.
