I find it fascinating that the democrats use the term "progressives" too don't you?

Hehehe. I have some "progressive" freinds. (What can I say? I live in a college town.) I love working little digs into our conversations, like describing Bush and various "neocons" as the "real progressives," and leftists as "reactionary". I do it deadpan, but they know it's done to piss them off (and it does). Thing is, it's also true.

Fascinating, perhaps, but what would call yourself if commie, leftist, socialist,and liberal had all been discredited? What is really a kick is that "progressive" is so close to joining the others in discreditation.
