Watch what they do, they'll SAY anything.
You may be confusing Republicans with conservatives.
Conservatives have core principles from which they generate a political philosophy.
Republicans are politicians whose job it is to gain control of the levers of power and maintain it. Principles are useful insofar as they promote the accession to office.
See the difference?
There is no such thing as a RINO. If the guy is in office, he's a Republican. Period.
Think CINO. Conservative In Name Only. That's what we have in the Supreme Court and the White House. The only real conservative in the Congress is probably Ron Paul.

I see one problem common to both Republicans and Democrats: they are not politically conservative enough. The difference is that Republicans are too wussy to effectively enact the legislation which will shrink the government and empower Americans, whereas Democrats are actively trying to expand the government and defraud Americans.
