I love your handle I nicknamed my son TeeKee -g- Well, I did get some sweet news, birth and death always go hand and hand. My daughter is expecting her fourth child just in time for her Nani's birthday -smiles-. She will need prayers because she also was advised with her last child not to have anymore. She's had 2 C-Section's already and a laparoscopy to remove abundant scar tissue. Her lining was so thick on her last C-Section that it took two hours for them to bring her son out.She is scared and I tried to reassure her God is giving her a gift, which she knows. But I am scared also.

Joining your FReeper family in prayer ...

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the miracle of life that soon will enter this world. I pray, Creator God, that this delivery will be so extraordinarily easy ... may it so confound the doctors and nurses that their hearts can only be turned to You as Creator and Provider and Healer. Encourage the hearts of this family ... may they be especially mindful of Your infinite care, for in Your hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind (Job 12:10). In the Name of Jesus, we offer praise and thanksgiving, Amen ...

if there is too much scar tissue, they might have to do a "classical" caesarian section...this scar is dangerous for furthur pregnancies, since some rupture in future pregnancies, so they will advise a tubal ligation.

Another problem: If there is too much scar tissue, the uterus might not contract, and you'll get bleeding, and you might end up with an emergency hysterectomy.

We ran into this problem in Africa, partly because the death rate of children was so high that we rarely tied tubes unless the lady had four babies...

all of this is risky, but usually ok for the mother if she has an experience ob/gyn

Prayer bump. Pregnancy is always a little scary and when there may be problems having to wait all those months is a bit like torture.
