I didn't think Hil would run in '04, but her recent statements and greater exposure make me believe she may be changing her mind about running next year. She is going to be on three talk shows this Sunday and her language is becoming more and more strident. Hil could be testing the waters as she assumes the role of chief Dem spokesperson. This is not mere happenstance. The Clintons plan and calculate everything.

She has been testing the waters for months .. that's why she had this book tour

It's just a different version of the town meeting and listening tour of the past

Not brought out in the press, Hil was in Dallas after Austin for more book signing. Nine hundred tickets were given out; must be sure the right people are there you know. Her crowds at signing are fake, ticketed only people. One Dem man interviewed afterward said he would never vote for her because she was too pushy when Bill was prez.

Hmmmmm....your post makes me think, she's out there trying to upstage Deanie boy......and thinking she better run now, or forever forget it. Besides, Deanie boy will be the head of the Dem party if he gets the nomination, and we know where that leaves x42 and hitlery and mccaulliffe.....

From The Clinton Playbook, which I've never actually seen but nonetheless managed to infer might exist from watching his troupe...

1. Shut up and let the masses from whatever camp speculate about your intentions.

2. But don't let the "buzz" fizzle. Orchestrate the placing of favorable and well-timed "bits" about you in the type of national media where surface scratching necessarily precludes in-depth reporting or the asking of hardball questions. Think Parade or Entertainment Tonight.

3. Take detailed notes during the political season preceding the primaries, as the interested collection of early risers, entitled, ennobled, and late bloomers try to outspend, out-bicker, and outright whore themselves distilling mob consensus from the equilvalent of a national focus-group.

4. Don't forget you're a junior US Senator with prepubescent voter-mandated political experience. Notwithstanding that a seat on an "A" tier Congressional Committee historically follows both the paying of ones dues and a tenured respect regarding the established pecking order, leverage your unprecedented appointment to the Armed Services Committee in appearing authoritative and expert regarding domestic affairs and foreign policy. Thanksgiving photo-ops with beleaguered Servicepersons may become necessary.

5. But don't appear Presidential, to which the prerequisite concerning a tangible vision or, more specifically, the lack thereof might attract just the sort of premature attention that Rule #3 seeks to avoid.

Yes, and the evil liberally controlled media may very well succeed in making her the next President. Most potential voters are still influenced by the liberal media.

It is a sin how dishonest NEWS organizations are in America. The media is by far the worst enemy of this country. There is real danger ahead for this country because of it. It's amazing to me that this cannot be seen by some.
