My street sense tells me this story is a lie. If Rush really owes his alleged drug dealer(s) money, why is he still alive? He sure isn't going to be paying them now!

Who cares about that...I clicked on this link and just found out that LITTLE RICKY just turned 53! (The actor who played him, of course).

Perhaps the maid was angry because Elvis Limbaugh was forcing her to go out and commit felonies to feed his drug habit which he had for years.

This is obviously a witch hunt aimed at destroying Rush. Yep, them evil liberals went into his bathroom, held him down against his will and made him take massive quantities of pain pills to cure his back problem that, somehow, mysteriously allowed him to play golf every weekend. Them fiendish liberals made Rush a junkie, they made him send his maid out to comitt felonies to feed his habit! Everyone knows that those damn hollywood liberal junkies should be thrown in the slammer, but not Rush! He is on the right side of things and he did a great job while he was zoned out on drugs, sure, let the common folk face the wrath of the drug laws, but not our Rushie! He is just a victim of the liberals!

Interesting that you are convinced it is the liberals. I am not too sure which side is putting the squeeze on him. One thing is for sure--someone is.
Tens of thousands of people do the things that Rush is accused of doing. I would venture to guess a large percentage of celebrities. Why is Rush being singled out?
I am not a Rush fanatic. In fact, I have been pretty critical of him in the past.

I would venture to guess that if the police had a chain of evidence leading them to other celebrities they would go after them also...
... are you of the mind that "since everyone does it" that it should not be investigated when you do receive some evidence about someone ?

Well, maybe one thing Rush has going for him is that he lives in a $24 million oceanfront mansion. Can it be argued that it takes a lot of dough on hand to maintain the associated lifestyle? I thought about that myself, since the media can't seem to any story about him without mentioning that $24 million dollar mansion!
I know it takes a lot to maintain my normal tract home, so I can't even imagine what his bills must be like for the "mansion."
