Watch out for this Truscott dude. He wrote the odious, anti-military, anti-West Point book, Dress Gray. He is not to be trusted.

Truscott is no Sam Damon but neither is he a Courtney Massengale. If he doesn't quite dissect things as interestingly as WEB Griffin/Bill Butterworth, he knew West Point firsthand and the spears he tossed its way seem to have not only stuck pretty good, but also landed in places that caused some particular yelps from his targets. I'm just glad he didn't pick on Norwich.

No personal experience with the guy, but Gen. Vincent Brooks had unkind words for him when I was his RTO back in 83. Don't think he knew him personally (Brooks was class of '79) but apparently his reputation at WP was not good.
