Thanks everyone, for your unwavering support for Terri

I support Terri. I support her right to death with dignity. I support her right to die without undue interference from the church, state, courts or family members. Yes, I support Terri's right to go to a better place. Let her go.

It was requested that I do this report for freepers who indeed helped terrisfight.org. but they could not be at Hospice Woodside on December 3rd.

If you want to chat, go to chat. That would be a better place for you. This thread is about life, not about FORCED EXIT.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1029010/posts?page=12#12

bears repeating:

"The statute robs patients of their right to refuse unwanted - by whom? the loving hubby? Terri can't speak. The only people who say Terri wants to die are those who stand to benefit from her death - medical treatment," the court filings said.

"... When the state so egregiously tramples upon the fundamental rights of its citizens, as in this case, its use of nice sounding explanations such as 'added protection,' has an Orwellian ring."

What is 'Orwellian' is the idea that there is a 'fundamental right' to be starved to death, but no right to live.

...and supporters led by her devoutly Catholic parents have declared Sunday as Terri Schindler day. Catholic congregations nationwide are being encouraged prayers for her...

This news report is framing the issue as if the only ones who advocate for Terri Schiavo's life are doing so because of religious dogma. I count myself amongst those who are against abortion, euthanasia etc. because it is a human rights issue.

Felos frames the issue as if interlopers are interfering with Terri Schiavo's privacy. In fact, we are fighting the idea that a Judge should have the power to decide if a human being is worthy of life based upon expense and convenience.

Trolls who post on these threads saying 'she's a veggie, let her die in peace' never address that aspect. Most of the time they have a truly sad story about a relative who died a lingering death and don't want such a thing for anyone else. Then they say that those of us who advocate erring on the side of life are basing our opinions on emotion.

Can you kindly explain to me what specifically is so dignified about being dehydrated to death?

" Yes, I support Terri's right to go to a better place. Let her go."

Alri-i-ighty, Whee, why don't you just run off to that "better place" yourself, first. I mean, just HOW can you be sure it is a better place?

Live up to your own words. Who the heck would NOT want to go to a better place? So by your own ADVICE, please go there. Starve yourself, first.

Make it a "better place" for all of us.

"I support Terri. I support her right to death with dignity. I support her right to die without undue interference from the church, state, courts or family members. Yes, I support Terri's right to go to a better place. Let her go."

I think you're confused. Terri isn't dying. She will only die if her condition changes, or if she's murdered. She hasn't asked to be killed. Letting her go isn't an issue. Her estranged husband is trying to get her euthanized against her will. You should familiarize yourself with her situation. Check out her website www.terrisfight.org. There are many legal documents posted there. You can't get any of these documents, or any other documents from her estranged husband, as he continues to go to great lengths to conceal the facts from the public and the courts. Even Terri's guardian ad-litem who recommends she be tested for her ability to learn to eat made that judgement based solely on the information her estranged husband allowed him to see. He was not allowed to see reports from doctors who have objectively evaluated Terri. He was only allowed to see the reports from doctors who have been paid to say she can't learn to eat, and must die. He was not allowed to see all of the records that were entered into evidence, as Judge Greer removed all the records that were entered in favor of Terri. Even with this biased information before him, and even with the biases he had when assigned to her case, Dr. Wolfson still didn't buy into the kill-her-now-before-she-can-protest propaganda. There is so much more you need to know about this. Go read the court documents.

Yes, your support for Terri reminds me of the nonsensical liberal mantra, "I support the troops. I just don't support the mission." It makes no sense. You can't support Terri and want her to starve to death. You can't support the troops and not the mission. You liberal bozos can't have it both ways. You aren't fooling anyone with your mindless psychobabble.

You don't support Terri. You support Michael Schiavo's attempts to starve her to death, do you not?

Sure you do.

Whatever the case may be, your posts are in extremely bad taste and lack class to the nth degree. You should be ashamed of yourself.

This thread is about Terri's birthday celebration. The moderator should have deleted your posts, Whiz On the People. You couldn't resist being an absolute disgusting liberal creature, could you?

No, you couldn't.

Liberals will be liberals. Democrats will be Democrats. Always wrong (incorrect) about everything. Never right (correct) about anything.

Instead of ignoring your trolling post, I decided to respond to your insipid assertions.
Probably a waste of time, but here goes:

"I support Terri." (You support euthanasia).

"I support her right to death with dignity." (She is NOT dying. She is merely disabled and in need of therapy to help her get better. Therapy that has been unlawfully denied Terri for many years.)

"I support her right to die without undue interference from the church, state, courts or family members." (Since when is it 'undue interference' to oppose a court sanctioned murder of an innocent person?)

"Yes, I support Terri's right to go to a better place." (Even in the absence of any clear wishes on her part? And are you not also assuming that a disabled person is better off dead? That's what your sentence seems to imply.)

"Let her go." ( translation: "Let her be starved and dehydrated to death.")

"Let her go."

Nice euphemism for the murder of the most defenseless. I suppose you call killing an unborn child, a choice.

No doubt you are a card carrying member of the culture of death. Unless you are here as just an antagonist, you'd probably feel more at home with the other killers of the defenseless at http://democraticunderground.com/

Don't let the cyber door hit you in the cyber ass on the way out.

I agree on this right to death with dignity. I would like to see a independent doctor examine her and pronounce her chances of recovery. And if theren't any chances of recovery...then let her die with dignity. There are too many confused people out there with agendas....attempting to fit Terri into their agenda.
