"What are they afraid of - that she might get sick and die?"

No, they're afraid that people, not to mention the media, will see her and realize that she is a real person and is alive. They might see that she responds. They might see something besides the image the HINO wants seen, then he wouldn't be able to perpetuate the lie any longer. As long as he can keep her image in people's minds as one of a brain dead vegetable who has no hope of improvement, he has a shot. If she is seen as she really is, he would lose his control over her. Why do you think he would not allow her family to take pictures of her or videotape her? I mean, if what he said was true, he would have nothing to worry about and any pictures or videotape should just prove his point, right?

And his claim that he is concerned about her privacy is hogwash. If she is a vegetable, as he claims, then she would have no need of privacy, and if she has need of privacy, she is not a vegetable. That is nothing more than legal jargon that Felos has spoon fed him to be regurgitated at the appropriate times. Besides, he lost any credibility he might have had in that regard when he got on Larry King and was talking about her gynocological "problems." No man concerned for his wife's privacy would even be that crass in a bar, let alone on national television.

That's the part of the Larry King Live that really got me. He went into such private details about his wife. I couldn't believe there wasn't more of an uproar about his insensitive statements concerning his wife, who he professed to love.
